Helping Children with Life Threatening Illnesses to SMILE

In loving memory of Zachary, please help us be the guiding light to another bright, young person

             This foundation originated in loving memory of Zachary Gerber. He was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age of nine. During Zack’s illness, he received anonymous weekly inspirational cards. The sender would sign these cards from “Your Guardian Angel.” In addition, Zack received presents from his “Angel” at special times such as his birthday or in celebration of a homecoming from the hospital. Zachary was thrilled to know that someone cared enough to take the time to send him a card every week and he gained comfort in knowing that a Guardian Angel was watching over him.

             The purpose of this organization is to continue, in Zachary’s name, the wonderful idea of providing the same positive light in a sick child’s life by sending them (anonymous) inspirational, “Guardian Angel” cards and gifts.

              While Zachary provided the light in many people’s lives, it should not be forgotten that without your help this “light” may flicker.
